Coffee and Orange Granita

You will need

500ml/17fl oz brewed coffee
60ml/2fl oz maple syrup
1 orange, juice and zest


1 Stir all ingredients together.

2 Pour into a shallow dish and leave to set in the freezer for 3 hours.

3 For smoother-textured granita, take the mixture out of the freezer before completely set and break apart with a spatula. Freeze for another 3 hours.
