Use this go-to hue to create a strong theme
1. Picking the right colour of pink paint can be a minefield, they all have their own personalities. In our August issue, you can see that in Hanna’s house she has used pink as a neutral upstairs in the master bedroom. If you’re looking for a similar neutral it is important to try out as many as you can.
2. If you prefer a calmer ambience, choose lighter shades of either cool or Expert advice warm pink, and choose a base colour with some white or brown in it to keep it from being too strong.
3. To introduce more vibrant pinks into your scheme, try balancing it all out with plenty of white or dark walls. Hanna has kept most walls colourfree so it is the vibrant accessories which bring in the pink colour hit.
4. If you are still unsure you could try adding pink in a small space, like on your front door or a cabinet, to make a statement without too much investment if you change your mind.
