If you're renting a furnished pad and the pieces aren't necessarily to your taste, there's no need to worry. There are cheap and easy methods you can follow that will temporarily update your furniture

1. Vinyl stickers are an affordable option - coming in a range of prints, you can simply stick them in place. For instance, you can give your table a completely new look, or alternatively, create a graphic design. Then, before moving out, simply peel them off.

2. Wallpaper or giftwrap can be used to line drawers or even to pep up your cupboard doors. Double-sided tape is a simple way to stick it on.

3. A incredibly easy update is to replace the legs or handles of pieces. However, before you leave, remember to swap them back around.

4. Washi tape can create a one-off design which you can then peel off with no trouble whatsoever.
