1 Take your time

2 Consider your flooring
What type of flooring fo you have? If you've got a wooden floor, you could easily scratch it with your sofa's legs. Therefore it's worth buying some felt protectors to add to the end of each leg.

3 Is it pre-treated?
Does your sofa come pre-treated with a stain-resistant coating? If so, it will make your life a lot easier, when the inevitable staining occurs.
