Faced with an abundance of beige, first time buyer Yasmin Fatollahy has brought a punchy palette to her Edwardian terraced house
A bit about me
I’m Yasmin Fatollahy, a financial services analyst, and I live with my long haired dachshund Cyrus.
Where I live
My home is a two-bedroom Edwardian terraced house in Tyne & Wear. I’ve lived here since September 2017.
What I wanted to change
A young couple had already renovated it and replaced the old-fashioned kitchen and bathroom, but everything else was just a beige blank canvas.
How I made it my own
I wanted to keep the classic traditional features of the house but add a modern twist with pops of colour and some Mid-Century styling.
My favourite part
I love spending time in the living room as it’s south facing and the cheerful colours make me feel so happy!
