Claire Faulkner turned an odd space into a stylish en suite bathroom with a pastel pink roll top bath of dreams!
A bit about me
I’m Claire Faulkner, a teacher, and I live with my husband, Andy, an accountant, and our two sons, in a Victorian property in Bromsgrove.
My problem bathroom
The bathroom suite was pretty much brand new when we moved in which made the decision to upgrade it a little harder. However, the existing décor was not to our taste and it didn’t match the era of the property.
How I made it work
We kept the layout the same – we were limited with this as the bathroom is a Jack and Jill space, meaning it is also a corridor through to the master bedroom and the landing on the other side. However, we added period tongue and groove panelling and chose the suite and other fixtures and fittings accordingly.
My favourite part
My favourite part of the room has to be the eye-catching pink roll top bath and I love the contrast of the tiles and dark woodwork which together makes a striking impact.
