If you're looking for ways to transform your home into an eco-friendly hub, Silentnight's new release could be something to consider

The brand has just launched a unique new pillow - the Eco Comfort Pillow. Coming with high performance Eco Comfort Fibres™, it's made from 100 per cent recycled materials.

Thanks to the pillow's responsive fibres, it's able to return to its original shape with ease, subsequently providing you with long lasting support. Encased in 100 per cent polyester breathable fabric, the product also has improved air circulation, to help you get a refreshing night's sleep.

The release follows on from the brand's award-winning range of eco-friendly sustainable mattresses - as it stands, this has prevented over 100 million plastic bottles from going into the sea.

Shoppers are increasingly looking to shop in an environmentally friendly way, with our plastic usage proving an increasing concern. Greenpeace has said there is an estimated 12.7 million tonnes of plastic going into our oceans each year, including everything from plastic bottles and bags to microbeads.

Tragically, the big pieces of plastic can end up choking and entangling turtles and seabirds, while the tiny pieces can clog the stomachs of creatures who think it's food. In fact, the plastic can even end up on our plates when we eat seafood.

Angela Moran of Silentnight, said: "Our consumer research has shown that shoppers place environmental concerns high on their list of priorities, so we’re delighted to add to the successful Eco Comfort mattress range with these pillows."

You can get your pillow on Amazon for £27.99 now.
