Whether it's when you're flicking through your latest issue of HomeStyle or find yourself looking online, you'll see those homes that look unrealistically great

How do they maintain it? How can you get it?

Well, the good news is it’s possible to create a magazine-fresh look without needing to splash the cash. In fact, you should treat these images as a starting point - what's to stop you from surpassing it?

So, we spoke to poundstopocket.co.uk who have shared their tips for getting your home looking 10 times better, without spending a penny. Previously, we looked at the living room - this time, it's all about the home office.

Having a tranquil vibe in your study will be incredibly important - you need to be able to work without distraction, after all.

You will never see a web of computer cables hanging in those beautiful rooms you see online, even though they appear in daily use.

So, how does everyone manage to hide them? Well, clips, cable tidies, adhesives and spaces where wires get tucked all play a part.

1. Move the computer tower and other items off your desk to help you cut the clutter. This will give your desk a more spacious feeling.

2. Take a paperless approach by clearing your room of any random papers.

3. Hide any leads and plug extensions by storing them in a tidy wayward cable.

4. Tidy cables create visual spaces which will give you the impression of a more open room.
