Are you looking for a way to give your home an interesting feature? Well, wood panelling could be the solution!

1. A great way to add some character to your home will, without a doubt, be wood panelling. It doesn't have to cost a fortune either, if you opt for painted MDF.

2. To begin, you need to decide on the style that will suit your home. You can achieve a beachy coastal vibe by opting for tongue and groove panels, while Victorian or Georgian style panels will provide an elegant high end feel. Alternatively, why not use a Moroccan style fretwork to achieve an exotic look? You also need to decide whether you want to panel a section or a whole wall.

3. There will be plenty of DIY guides online if you decide you want to take the task on yourself. However, if you have a wonky wall and need to cut holes for the plug sockets and light switches, it might not be such a simple task.
