Four ways to add some festive cheer to your bedroom

Four ways to add some festive cheer to your bedroom

A great way to make your Christmas morning even more special will be adding some decorations to your bedroom

If you're not sure how to go about this, we've spoken to Vanessa Arbuthnott, who has got the ideal tips for you...

1. Dress your headboard with some fresh foliage - the fragrance is sure to help to soothe you to sleep. The one thing you need to remember is to secure it properly, to ensure it doesn't fall off during the night.

2. Seize the chance to give your dressing room table a touch up. Giving it a festive transformation is nice and simple – you can either tie red ribbons on to the handles of your wardrobe or drawers, or alternatively, drape tinsel over the bed frame.

3. The thought of a full size Christmas tree in your room may be a touch too far - however, what about a miniature box tree? They can look super chic when wrapped in fabric - you can then pop it on your bedside table.

4. Give yourself a temporary feature wall by using a cluster of oversized paper snowflakes - they can even by suspended from the ceiling. Teaming these with fairy lights is another great win.
