Free From fans - you're going to love Asda's latest bargains…
As well as investing in bringing prices down to £1 and £1.50 on 16 of its most popular items, the supermarket has also added over 100 new pieces to its current range.
The 16 items to have their prices reduced include the everyday items a household would typically buy, including Free From pasta, bread, cornflakes and soya yoghurt.
Free From foods are becoming an increasingly common part of weekly shops up and down the country, with a wide range of choice becoming a key demand.
Asda’s newly released Free From selections meet this criteria, and will see the range increase by 42 per cent, while its ambient range will rise by 21 per cent with a selection of its own brand and branded sweet treats and meal essentials.
The new range features Asda branded Free From tortillas, gluten free pesto, soya yoghurts, dairy free creme fraiche and Free From brioche rolls, along with branded favourites, inclining Rude Health drinks, Dr Shar snacks and gluten free Cobra beer.
Lizzy Massey, Vice President of Asda Own Brand, said: "At Asda, we recognise that Free From foods are an essential part of the weekly shop for an increasing number of families, so we’re working hard to offer the same everyday low prices that Asda is famous for, whilst still maintaining great quality products."
"As well as making sure Free From products are well-priced for customers, we also understand it’s really important to offer choice when it comes to a Free From diet, to make sure customers never have to feel like they’re missing out on the food they love."
