Creating a gallery wall doesn't need to be a stressful experience, as these four simple tips explain
1. Firstly, decide what you want to hang, and how you’d like to hang it. Go for a staggered look or a uniform grid format. Do you want your frames to match or be different, and do you have a colour theme or prefer a mix of bright with black and white?
2. Lay all your frames out on the floor and have a play until you find a configuration that you’re happy with. Do it in front of the wall you are planning to hang them on so you can visualise it.
3. Using lining paper or something similar, draw round each frame and cut the shape out. Place the paper shapes on the wall with some masking tape in your chosen position.
4. Once you are happy, secure your frames with Command picture hanging strips. Clean the wall with rubbing alcohol, separate the strips and press two together until they click. Remove the liners and place on the frame. Remove the remaining liners and position.
