Top tips to getting the perfect bath

Top tips to getting the perfect bath

Posted 21st Oct 2015

Nothing beats a relaxing soak in the bath after a hard days work. However with so many on the market it can be a struggle to know which type to go for. Follow our top tips below to ensure you're at your savvy best when it comes to picking the best bath for you.

1. Size matters
Measure your bathroom before creating a scale drawing on graph paper. This will not only allow you to carefully plan the placements of free-standing taps, sanitaryware and storage but will allow you to have enough room around the bath to ensure you've got easy access in and out of it. Then the last thing to ensure is that it will be able to fit through all the doors in your house.

2. Take weight into account
Weight will also play a factor. If you opt for a heavier material, such as cast iron or stone resin, you may have to reinforce the floor, especially when the additional weight of water and a person sitting in it is taking into account!

3. Don't just go to one shop
Don't plunge straight into buying the first bath you see; instead shop around to get the best deal you can. Find a model you like and check it out in different places; prices change daily.
