A few little touches can go a long way when you're looking to maximise the space in your home...try these four tips and reap the benefits!
1. Invest in multi-purpose furniture that will save you money and space - for instance, a sofa that can double up as a guest bed, or a storage trunk that can be used as a coffee table.
2. Trick your eye into thinking the room is larger than it is with some strategically placed mirrors, see-through furnishings and floor-to-ceiling curtains - these will help to make the room appear taller.
3. Try using bigger, but fewer furnishings. A few larger-scale pieces can make a home feel more spacious than if you have lots of small furniture.
4. Bespoke and built-in storage makes the most out of every nook and cranny and can be tailored to exactly what you need. Fold-up furniture is another great way of maximising space you don't necessarily have.
