Make your own tealight holders

Make your own tealight holders

Posted 20th Sep 2017

If you have any old jam jars lying around, why not use them to create a cosy atmosphere?

Ideal as the nights draw in, this will create a cosy, warming light once tealights are placed in them.

You will need:

Duerr’s jar(s)
Tealights
Twine
Thin bendy wire
Clean out your empty Duerr’s jar

Directions

1 Twist two pieces of thin wire together to create a sturdy handle for your jar.

2 Place the wire in an arch shape over the jar, attach to the jar by wrapping twine around the top of the jar several times, then fasten by either tying the two ends into a bow or by using glue to stick them down.

3 Place your tealight into the jar, then light using a long match stick.
