Five reasons we're loving the décor in Celebrity Big Brother

Celebrity Big Brother is helping us get through the post-Christmas slump

Where would we be without our nightly fix of drama, backstabbing and alien abduction stories...

This series started with an initially all-female cast of housemates which was in honour of a centenary of women's suffrage.

The house always looks amazing and this year's no different - in fact, it might just be our favourite one so far, as we explain here…

1 The metallics

Copper is very on-trend at the moment, and it's evident throughout the house. We love the bath (#bathroomgoals, anyone?), and it's perfectly matched with a backdrop of the natural trend, as plants are used to complement the calming blues on the wall. There are also the copper pendant lights, which combine with the concrete effect pots (again, very on-trend) to create an on-point industrial look.

2 The bedroom

Faux fur cushions and copper pendant lights combine to give a cosy, contemporary vibe, while the white and grey bedding combo give off a light and airy vibe. You can almost see why housemates inevitably start the series by arguing over who sleeps where…

3 Crockery goals

Again drawing on the industrial trend, the kitchen's use of greys, blacks and coppers establish's a stylish eating area. And can we have a minute to appreciate how great those copper dining chairs are?

4 The lounge

Who wouldn't like a lounge area that looked like that? The colour coordination of the three sofas - pink, dark grey and purple - form the ideal accompaniments, with the purple acknowledging Pantone's Colour of the Year 2018 - Ultra Violet.

There’s also a subtle use of hygge through the addition of the fireplace (complete with a log pile too) and two dark grey chairs.

5 Good natural vibes in the garden

It wouldn't be Big Brother if someone didn't storm off to the garden to sit on their own for a bit, and this year, they have quite the area to go and sit in. And this year there’s been a sauna added too - cool, no?
