Snore no more with the Pineapple Plant

Snore no more with the Pineapple Plant

Posted Tuesday by Peter Byrne

Little is quite so annoying as falling asleep only to be woken by the sound of snores reverberating from your partner's side of the bed

However, for the 45 per cent of Brits who suffer with snoring, Asda's new Pineapple Plant could be an early Christmas present.

With the Christmas season full of social activities and events, sleep will be at a premium, meaning snoring will be even more of a drain than it was previously.

Enter, the Pineapple Plant.

NASA studies have revealed Pineapple Plants will produce oxygen, thus improving the air quality throughout the night, helping us get a better - and quieter! - night's sleep. This could be something of a sleep revolution - almost a quarter of Brits will regularly end up sleeping in a different room due to their partner's snoring.

The plants are grown in Holland, and will take between 21 and 24 months to develop the inedible, miniature pineapple that will adorn the top.

Phil Smith, Asda Plant Buyer, said: "Snorts, snuffles and splutters affect a quarter of Brits, so for those 16 million snorers, Asda’s Pineapple Plant could be a dream come true – even more-so for sleep deprived partners."

"For those lucky enough to sleep through the night without the disturbance of snoring, the plant is a chic addition to the home which is easy to care for and adds a little touch of The Tropics to any room."

The Pineapple Plants are available exclusively at Asda nationwide until January for £12.00
